Steps For The Beautiful Monarch Design
Too often people think that cute fingernail designs are difficult to manage or require a high level of artistic skill. There are in fact several simple designs that you can easily do. One of them is referred to as the Monarch and that is because it is takes after the beautiful butterflies we see in nature.
Start With A Base Coat

Follow With Orange
For this design you will follow with a deep, pumpkin colored orange. Allow this to dry on your nails thoroughly. Follow the first coat by applying a second and allowing this to dry very well also.
Now For The Detailing Work
After you’ve got the base established you will want to get a black that is made for heavy wear. Use this to paint a diagonal, soft-edged triangle at the top of the nail. Near the base a fine black line in a half moon will go. This will be followed with four lines connecting the two blackened shapes. Two of these four lines are at the edge of the nail beds.
Finish this by darkening in the lines you created and lining them with gentle curves. The shapes wills start to take on the soft, rectangles of the butterfly.
